Chick Pillow

I will post a photo of the floor pillow I made for my three-year-old daughter -- soon! I used some lovely Japanese printed linen and filled it so that it's very soft for flopping down on. I recently learned how to sew zippers in and so have been on a bit of a frenzy (well, Christmas was the frenzy) making cushions for almost everyone. And probably for those who don't want them. That's died down a bit now, and I'm on to clothing. Little girls' dresses and tops are just so easy it's hard not to keep going on and on. But she needs playwear. As does my son. I'm currently thinking about sewing up some red linen or cotton twill shorts, with a shark applique. Have I done applique before? Nope!
